Arsenal have informed staff of plans to make approximately 60 roles redundant as part of sweeping cost-cutting measures across the club.
Employees were notified of the proposed job losses during internal meetings on Wednesday morning in north London.
The redundancies come just seven days after manager Mikel Arteta signed a lucrative new four-year contract worth £20 million per year.

According to reports from The Athletic, the proposed cuts will focus entirely on non-football departments across the organisation.
Administrative, commercial, marketing, and stadium operations staff are expected to absorb the brunt of the departures.
Coaching staff, playing personnel, and the primary scouting networks remain completely unaffected by the restructuring process.
Arsenal employ more than 500 people, meaning the restructuring represents a workforce reduction of more than ten%.
A formal consultation period with impacted employees is now underway before final departures are confirmed.
