Budhigandaki Floods: Army conducts rescue operations

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Army has been carrying out rescue operations in coordination with local residents and other security agencies. A rescue team has been deployed to the area affected by the sudden floods in Budhigandaki River of Gorkha.

The Army’s Directorate of Public Relations and Information stated that troops are currently deployed to the affected area via both air and land routes, and further search and rescue efforts are underway in collaboration with other security agencies and locals.
