Chhotaudepur Ward 4 By-Election Result 2026: The BJP has retained a seat in Chhotaudepur Municipality after its candidate, Dr Rajniben Rathwa, won the Ward 4 by-election in Gujarat on October 13, 2026. Rathwa received 1,108 votes, finishing 752 votes ahead of Congress candidate Arjunbhai Rathwa, who secured 356 votes. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Dr Kailash Rathwa came third with 326 votes.
The result settles the contest for the ward, which fell vacant after the previous member was disqualified following a dispute over her Scheduled Tribe caste certificate.

Dr Rajniben Rathwa maintained a clear lead over both opposition candidates in the by-election. The BJP candidate received 426 more votes than the combined total of Congress and AAP, which stood at 682.
