TANAHUN: The concrete bridge linking Ghiring and Dedhgaon, which was damaged by flooding in the Kaligandaki River, has been restored and is now operational after an 18-day closure.

The flood, which occurred on September 27, swept away access roads on both sides of the bridge, affecting connectivity between Ghiring Rural Municipality in Tanahun and Boudikali Rural Municipality in Nawalpur.

A temporary access road to Nawalpur was completed last week, while the road towards Tanahun was finalized on Wednesday.
