NUWAKOT: Following the destruction of two concrete bridges spanning the Trishuli River in Bidur Municipality-1, Nuwakot, caused by the Bhotekoshi flood, a suspension bridge has been constructed to restore connectivity and facilitate movement in the affected region.

Despite remaining incomplete, the bridge connecting Dhunge and Trishuli market has been opened to the public in response to the pressing needs of local residents. Since the flood on August 26 destroyed the previous bridge, inhabitants were compelled to utilize tuin and zipline systems for river crossing.
