From quick destination changes to last-minute protest plans, the Congress has stayed two steps ahead of Delhi police and its attempts to effectively handle the stir.

The Congress party and the INDIA bloc kept the Delhi Police on its toes throughout this week through its surprise protests, catching the police guessing what the grand-old-party’s move would be to corner the government over its plan to protest against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Gyanesh Kumar.

The Congress started this week with its planned meeting with the party’s General Secretaries, in-charges, state unit chiefs and its frontal head organisation to plan the strategy to take on the Election Commission and the CEC.

Sources said that the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, during this meeting, told the party leaders that they need to be creative and reach the people with their message on how vote theft is happening.
