Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad are probing allegations that three men were wrongfully confined and tortured at the residence of Barhapur BJP MLA Sushant Singh over the suspected theft of a gold bangle, officials said on Sunday (October 11, 2026).
While the complainants have sought the registration of an FIR against six named persons, including the MLA's aides, and nine unidentified people, no case has been registered so far, SP (Rural) Kunwar Akash Singh said.
