Ahead of the festive season, the Food Safety Wing of the Department of Food Safety and Drugs Administration (FSDA) launched a massive statewide inspection drive on Thursday, covering 80 sweet manufacturing and retail establishments.

The special drive was conducted in accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration) Regulations, 2011.
