From the given data on the price of gold in India, the price of 24K gold was ₹14,804, that of 22K gold was ₹13,570 and that of 18K gold was ₹11,103 per gram in most Indian cities. The latest changes recorded were favourable, with 24K gold recording a rise of ₹38 per gram, 22K gold a rise of ₹35 per gram and 18K a gain of ₹29 per gram but international gold prices were pressured by strong US dollar and Treasury yields.

Spot prices of international gold fell in the last market update. Gold spot prices fell by 0.5% to $4,143.91 per ounce. US gold futures were also lower by 0.4% at $4,163.30 per ounce and Silver prices were in contrast higher by 0.4% at $57.24 per ounce while Platinum prices rose by 1% to $1,646 per ounce.
On the other hand, palladium rose by 0.8% to $1,121.14 per ounce while investors are watching out for US inflation data as well as the interest rate forecasts of the Federal Reserve. Interest rates and bond yields rise can be adverse for gold.
