Kathmandu, Oct 18: The number of passengers leaving the Kathmandu Valley for their homes outside to celebrate the Bada Dashain festival has reached near about 500 thousand. 

Four hundred and ninety-six thousand 323 passengers have exited from the Kathmandu Valley since October 11, the day of Ghatasthapana, until October 17.
