Nepali Army organizes Phulpati feu de joie at Tundikhel

Kathmandu, Oct 17: The 'Phulpati feu de joie Ceremony-2083' was organized at the Army Pavilion at Tundikhel this afternoon. President Ramchandra Paudel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. 

At the ceremony, the Nepali Army presented a guard of honour to President Paudel, the Supreme Commander of the Nepali Army.

On the occasion, a contingent of the Army opened individual and rapid succession celebratory fire from rifle as well as canons, accompanied by blowing of the conch.

A military parade was also held as part of the ceremony. A banner with 'Phulpati feu de joie-2083' written on it was displayed from an army helicopter along with showering of flower petals.
