President Droupadi Murmu at the Goddess Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

President Droupadi Murmu had darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam here on Wednesday.

Temple priests offered her a traditional welcome from Rajagopuram. She offered special prayers at the temple.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni), Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita, devasthanam Trust Board chairman Borra Radhakrishna, and others received her. Temple’s Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik presented her a photograph of the presiding deity and laddu prasadam.
