The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM local time on Sunday, October 11, at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, but the weather could become a major talking point once again after Saturday’s rain-disrupted sprint.

Singapore Weather Today: Will It Rain At F1 Race Start?

At the time of writing, the Marina Bay Street Circuit is dry. However, the increasingly heavy-looking sky is giving fans reason to watch the forecast closely, especially after Saturday’s downpour disrupted the sprint race.

According to the AccuWeather figures provided for this update, the chance of rain is 45% around the scheduled race start, while the overall probability of precipitation for Sunday stands at 65%. Looking at the sky, which is getting heavier at the time of writing, it can be said that there could be rain in an hour or two. But at 8:00 PM, there remains only 20% chance of rain as per AccuWeather.

The key uncertainty is how much rain falls, how quickly it develops and whether it leaves standing water on the track. A passing shower may have a limited effect, while a sudden downpour could force race control to delay the start or adjust the procedure for safety.
