KATHMANDU: The major trade border crossing with China, Tatopani, is set to open temporarily for three days.

The decision follows discussions between Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Deepak Kumar Sah and Chinese officials.

The Chinese authorities agreed to open the border in response to a formal request from the Nepali side, aimed at facilitating the supply of essential goods to the Nepali market ahead of the Dashain festival.
