US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Iran Warns Nine Nations Against Further Military Action

Conservative Iranian politician Mohammad Mokhber and an advisor to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has stated that Iran may strike back at nine nations in case their military installations or petrochemical plants are once again subjected to attacks. His comments recorded in the semi-governmental news channel Tasnim have not named the nations under threat. This serves as an indication of the potential for a wider regional conflict that will involve those nations hosting American military bases.

Hossein Mohebi, spokesperson of Revolutionary Guards, was also heard claiming that many US military bases were not operational in the region and that American forces had pulled away by several hundred kilometers from Iran.

“The US entered the war with all its might, and it is certainly not in a position now to start a new conflict that would bring it any new gains,” said Mohebi.

Iran is “ready to resolve existing issues and challenges through dialogue, understanding, and regional mechanisms”, he said during his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov in the capital Tehran.

Pezeshkian said US military bases in the Middle East have no benefit and are “increasing tensions, intensifying disputes, and creating instability and insecurity”.
