American comedian Shane Gillis is facing fresh criticism after his latest appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL), where jokes about women’s gym clothes and Adolf Hitler drew an uncomfortable response from the studio audience.
Gillis hosted the NBC sketch comedy show on October 10, 2026, with Spanish singer Rosalía as the musical guest. During his opening monologue, he called women who wear certain workout outfits to the gym “whores”, prompting audible groans. He later joked about his receding hairline resembling Hitler’s hairstyle, but that punchline also received a muted response.
