Lalitpur, October 10 : A community-based AI literacy pilot concluded with participants calling for accessible, practical and locally tailored programmes to help communities use artificial intelligence responsibly and take part in Nepal’s digital transformation.
The “From Access to Agency: AI Literacy to Reduce Inequalities in Nepal” project concluded on October 9 by sharing and celebration of an event that brought together community members, local government representatives, volunteers and development partners. The pilot was carried out in collaboration with Ward No. 2 of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, with the support from the Atlantic Fellowship for Social and Economic Equity at the London School of Economics’ International Inequalities Institute.
