Apple Event Welcome Home: Apple has officially scheduled a special launch experience for Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Promoted by Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak with the tagline “Welcome home,” this event breaks away from traditional hardware rollouts. Instead of a standard keynote streaming from Cupertino, it is structured as an in-person media “experience” in Tribeca, New York City, kicking off at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (6:30 p.m. IST).

The embroidered, cross-stitched rainbow logo in the official teaser strongly hints at the “Thread” smart home networking standard, signaling a massive push into unified home automation.
