Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Rammohan Naidu on Monday (October 5, 2026) visited the Arasavalli Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple and said it would become one of the country’s major spiritual destinations once it was developed with ₹55.74 crore under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. Along with Collector Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar and other senior officials, he interacted with officials, priests, public representatives and locals at the temple, 2 km from Srikakulam, over its development.
