The Telangana government has launched a common pass for Hyderabad Metro Rail and Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) services on Friday (October 2, 2026).

Charges and validity

While the daily pass costs ₹400, the monthly pass is priced at ₹8,500. The latter will be valid for 30 calendar days. The pass will be applicable for all categories of RTC buses without Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits barring Pushpak service — which is dedicated for commute to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Hyderabad outskirts. The cards can be purchased at Metro Rail Stations. Officials said that it can be purchased online as well. People have to pay ₹100 for the pass which would be refunded when returned. 

The common pass was launched by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad.
