Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has put forward a £10 billion “Britannia Shield” plan to build an integrated air and missile defence network for the UK. This system would bring together advanced radar, command-and-control infrastructure, interceptor missiles and counter-drone capabilities, aiming to protect the entire UK, its sovereign territories and British military bases abroad.

The Conservatives state that they would aim to achieve a minimum deployable capability within five years, with additional upgrades and larger missile stockpiles over the next five years.
