Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has taken inspiration from a difficult chapter in his college years to help young people make better choices. After being arrested following a bar fight while playing for Temple University in 2015, Dawkins has turned the experience into a reminder that a person’s lowest moment does not have to define their future.
According to reports, Dawkins volunteers as a mentor to young adults who have been incarcerated or need additional support. His work offers a different perspective on an incident that once threatened to derail his football career.
