KATHMANDU: Continuous rainfall from September 24 to 27 has triggered floods and landslides in Myagdi, affecting approximately 550 families. According to the District Administration Office, 111 houses have been completely destroyed, 93 partially damaged, and 342 remain at high risk.
Assistant Chief District Officer Kul Prasad Acharya reported that Annapurna Rural Municipality is the most affected area, with 45 houses destroyed, 12 partially damaged, and 183 at risk. In Beni Municipality, 30 houses were destroyed, 14 partially damaged, and 45 are at risk.
