T. Natarajan is set to return to Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the IPL 2027 season after spending the last two editions with Delhi Capitals. The left-arm pacer has been brought back by the 2016 champions through a player trade completed on Wednesday, ahead of the league’s retention deadline. Natarajan will join SRH at a revised fee of ₹5 crore as the franchise looks to strengthen its pace-bowling options for the upcoming campaign.
In the same deal, leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari will move from Sunrisers Hyderabad to Delhi Capitals, giving the two teams a chance to reshape their bowling units ahead of the new season. The trade marks a return to familiar territory for Natarajan, who previously played a key role in SRH’s bowling attack, while Ansari will now look to make his mark with the Delhi-based franchise.
