The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory, announcing of possible diversions and restrictions in as many as 30 locations across the national capital region on Saturday (October 10, 2026), owing to the protests by various organisations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Jantar Mantar. The restrictions are scheduled to be imposed since 6 A.M., depending on ground conditions, mentioned the official X handle of Delhi Traffic Police.

Posting on X, the Delhi Traffic Police wrote, “Commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance, avoid non-essential travel through affected areas. Please keep extra time in hand if travelling towards railway stations, ISBTs, or the Airport via New Delhi and Central Delhi”. It noted that commuters are requested not to undertake non-essential travel on Saturday.

Alongside, over 200 trains coming into or originating from Delhi have been cancelled or rescheduled by four railway zones, such as Western Railway, Central Railway, Northern Railway and North-Western Railway.
