The conclusion of the series “Lanterns” has a very quiet and unassuming tone compared to what would have been expected from a series that takes place within the DC Universe. This particular episode was aired last Sunday night on HBO, and, regardless of whether this will be the last episode of the season or the whole show, it certainly did not provide an amazing end. The character of Hal Jordan is not utilized in a proper way, leaving him with not many actions to perform.

Aaron Pierre And Kyle Chandler Remain The Show’s Biggest Strengths

Despite the flaws of the finale, the acting ensemble is definitely one of the best things about Lanterns. Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler have infused their characters with new dimensions, which ensures that the series remains engaging when the plot falters. These performances are particularly effective in the slower parts of the series, when attention turns from action to dialogue and emotion. The supporting actors do an excellent job too, keeping the series dramatic despite any shortcomings in the scriptwriting.
