UDAYPUR: Chaudandigadhi Municipality of Udaypur district has provided financial assistance to the downtrodden Sada people as the festival spending.
Each family is handed over Rs 3,000 Dashain expenses. The Sada (Musahar) community is extremely poor, which finds it difficult to manage expenses on its own.
Total 228 Musahar families received the Dashain spending under the social security schemes. The municipality claimed that it is the first time that such programme was launched targeting the Musahar community.
