Michael Flatley is mourning the loss of his wife of 20 years, Niamh O’Brien, who died at the age of 52. The Irish dancer and choreographer announced O’Brien’s death in an emotional social media post on October 5, 2026, describing her as his “beautiful wife” and “best friend.” The couple had been married since 2006 and shared one son, Michael St James, born in 2007.
