Voting for the Nandigram Assembly constituency by-election is underway in West Bengal on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The seat fell vacant after BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, who had won both Nandigram and Bhabanipur in the May Assembly elections, decided to retain Bhabanipur.
A total of 16 candidates are contesting the by-election. Voting will continue until 6 PM, with the counting of votes scheduled for Friday, October 9.
