LONDON: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel has arrived in London for an official visit to the United Kingdom at the invitation of General Sir Roland (Roly) Walker, chief of the UK General Staff.

Sigdel was received at London Heathrow Airport by Major General The Right Honourable The Lord Lancaster of Kimbolton.

According to the UK Embassy in Nepal, the visit is expected to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and defense partnership between Nepal and the United Kingdom.
