‘Parijat on Canvas’ Art Exhibition

KATHMANDU: A week-long art exhibition titled ‘Parijat on Canvas’, featuring artworks inspired by the literary works of the distinguished Nepali writer Parijat has commenced at the Parijat Memorial Center in Mhaipi.

Inaugurating the exhibition on Saturday, former Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Nardamani Hartamchhali, remarked that artists have initiated a noble endeavor by creating paintings based on Parijat’s literary works. When one artist creates art based on the work of another it allows for an understanding of the creative insights and differing perspectives shared between them.
