South Korean actor Song Ji-ho has surprised fans with a major personal announcement. The Lovely Runner actor has revealed that he will marry singer and actress Kim So-ri in October 2026. He shared the news through an emotional handwritten letter on social media.
Song Ji-ho, known for his supporting roles in popular Korean dramas including Lovely Runner and Doctor Cha, opened up about his relationship while announcing his plans to begin married life.

On October 6, Song Ji-ho personally shared the news with his followers where he revealed that he had decided to marry the woman he describes as the person he wants to spend his life with.

“I have new news in my life that I want to share with you,” he wrote before announcing, “In October, I promised to marry the person I want to spend my life with.”
The actor also reflected on his long relationship with Kim So-ri and explained that the couple had remained by each other’s side through different phases of their lives.
“We have kept each other’s side for a long time, supporting one another and growing together through happy and sad times. When we are together I can be my truest self and feel comfortable and happy, and I met someone whose happiness I want to share completely,” he wrote.
He added that they are now ready to take the next step together and build their lives as a married couple.
“Now we intend to bind our lives as a married couple so we can be each other’s closest ally and spend our lives together.”
