Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials and construction agencies to step up the pace of works in Amaravati and ensure that projects worth ₹2,000 crore are executed every month.
Mr. Naidu held a review meeting on the progress of Amaravati capital works with the officials and representatives of the contracting agencies at his Camp Office on Tuesday.
Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana said 152 projects had been taken up in the capital region and around 41,000 workers were currently engaged in the works.
