Earthquake Today: A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck Chamoli in Uttarakhand late Tuesday night, sending tremors across parts of northern India, including Delhi-NCR. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) recorded the earthquake at 10:23:13 PM IST on October 6, with its epicentre located at 30.103°N latitude and 79.561°E longitude and a depth of 13 km.

Tremors were felt in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and other parts of the National Capital Region, prompting some residents to step outside their homes and offices.
