In Animals, Ben Affleck brings another exciting crime thriller that combines elements of kidnapping, desperate family, and politics. However, while all the elements of an interesting thriller movie are present in Animals, the execution is not up to par with the concept itself.

“Animals” creates a storyline on the basis of a scary situation, which will hopefully be able to keep its audience on their toes. Nevertheless, the movie does not do much justice to the main conflict presented within it. There are hard decisions to be made for the characters in question, and the pressure only increases as they seek to resolve the situation. Nevertheless, there are a number of scenes where there is simply not enough tension to portray the threat to the characters.
