Asian Games 2026 Highlights: India produced a memorable closing-day surge at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026, turning October 3 into another golden chapter of its campaign. The Indian contingent collected nine medals, including five gold, two silver and two bronze, across archery, golf, wrestling, cricket and hockey. Kumkum Mohod, Pranavi Urs and Aman Sehrawat struck individual gold before India’s men completed a memorable cricket-hockey double.

Asian Games 2026: Who were India’s Medal Winners On Day 15?

India’s five gold medals came from Kumkum Mohod (women’s individual recurve archery), Pranavi Urs (women’s individual golf), Aman Sehrawat (men’s freestyle 57kg wrestling), India men’s cricket team and India men’s hockey team.

Kumkum defeated South Korea’s Oh Yejin 6-5 in a shoot-off, while Pranavi became the first Indian woman to win individual golf gold at the Asian Games. Aman defeated DPR Korea’s Han Chong Song 11-7.
