Bhandari attends CPN-UML standing committee meeting as senior leader

KATHMANDU: The standing committee of the CPN-UML is currently holding a meeting at the party’s central office in Chyasal.

Former president Bidya Devi Bhandari is participating in the standing committee meeting for the first time in her capacity as a senior leader.

The meeting was convened following the central committee’s decision to nominate seven additional members, including officials, to the standing committee. Discussions during the meeting are focused on contemporary political issues and the party’s upcoming activities.
