KATHMANDU: A flash flood in the Budhigandaki River in Gorkha on Sunday morning swept away two suspension bridges and an iron bridge, causing damage to houses and settlements in several areas.
According to police, the old suspension bridge connecting Nyakchet and Sirdibas in Nyakchet, Chumanubri Rural Municipality-3, was swept away by the flood.
