KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Civil Aviation Office, has issued a press release urging the general public to refrain from flying kites, balloons, or operating drones near the airport premises and flight paths.

With the commencement of the Dashain festival, authorities observed a significant increase in kite-flying activities around the TIA area.
