The Shin Bet security service of Israel has deployed interrogators to the United Arab Emirates in order to take part in the interrogation of Hamam al-Hammami, the co-pilot at flydubai, who is charged with attempting to perform a “terror attack” on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv last week, according to The Times of Israel. Al-Hammami confessed to two Israeli officials knowledgeable about the investigation that he had planned to crash the plane in Ben Gurion airport of Israel before becoming an employee of flydubai.

From the information provided by the two Israeli government officials, it was said that al-Hammami disclosed to the investigators that his intentions of crashing the airplane existed even before he was working for flydubai. This has come out from the ongoing investigation in the UAE, and the Israeli government is also monitoring the development. This plan, if proven, will mean that the co-pilot had already formed plans of attacking the plane before joining the airline.
