KATHMANDU: Former Executive Director of the Security Printing Center Bikal Paudel has been found guilty on corruption charges.
A bench of the Special Court comprising Judges Basudev Acharya, Umesh Koirala, and Bidur Koirala convicted him on Friday and sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months in prison.
Additionally, a fine of Rs 419.47 million has been slapped on him.
Deeming assets equal to the said amount illegal, the Special Court also ruled to confiscate the property.
