The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the POCSO case against ‘Gem Granites’ Veeramani is likely to file its charge sheet before the Special Court for POCSO cases next week, police sources said.

The case was initially registered in October 2025 following a complaint from a child rights activist who received a pen drive from an unidentified person containing a video purportedly showing Veeramani sexually assaulting a minor girl. Police had subsequently filed a closure report, citing difficulties in identifying the girl. The Special POCSO Court, however, rejected the closure report and ordered further investigation.
