Alexander Isak struck twice inside the opening ten minutes as Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory away at Ipswich Town on Friday night, delivering a much-needed first Premier League win for manager Andoni Iraola.
The Swedish forward, signed last year in a club-record £125 million deal, provided an early masterclass in finishing at Portman Road. Isak opened the scoring in the sixth minute before capitalizing on another defensive lapse just three minutes later, effectively putting the contest beyond the newly promoted hosts before they could settle into their rhythm.
