Noida International Airport situated at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh will now be known as Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar, according to CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday. The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the renaming of the airport after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his address to the media, Adityanath said that the Cabinet of UP is thankful to the Prime Minister for this airport and described it as a gift from the Prime Minister to the people of Uttar Pradesh.
“Thankful to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this airport gifted to Noida, the Council of Ministers of Uttar Pradesh has approved the renaming of the airport as Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar,” CM Adityanath said. He added that the airport will become the biggest airport of Uttar Pradesh.
