Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of Nepal (GoN) have signed the Grant Agreement valued at 2.853 billion Japanese Yen (JPY 2,853,000,000) for the project "Improvement of Air Traffic Control Facilities at Tribhuvan International Airport".

The project is expected to modernize air traffic control services at Tribhuvan International Airport by constructing new air traffic control facilities and introducing advanced Air Traffic Management(ATM) systems.
