'Khulamanch' is essential for citizens' questions and opinion: President Thapa

Kathmandu, Oct 4: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that 'Khulamanch' or the open air theatre is essential for accommodating citizens' questions, disagreements, and opinions.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the NC's 15th General Convention at Khulamanch today, President Thapa emphasized that the country needs Khulamanch as a venue to discuss the public's queries and questions.

Recalling how leaders like BP Koirala, Ganesh Man Singh, and Girija Prasad Koirala delivered speeches regarding historic political events from this very stage, President Thapa noted that Khulamanch provides an opportunity to bring together differing views and disagreements for dialogue.
