KATHMANDU: The 21st session of the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament concluded formally on Friday. The session, which began on May 10, lasted for 145 days until October 2, with a total of 52 meetings held. National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal stated that the assembly spent 98 hours and 10 minutes on parliamentary proceedings during this period.
The session successfully passed six bills to replace ordinances, including amendments related to the House of Representatives election, voter registration, public procurement, money laundering, cooperatives, and health science academies. Additionally, the assembly completed essential budgetary work, including the passage of the Appropriation Bill, the Finance Bill, and the National Debt Bill.
