The NFL has suspended veteran line judge Jeff Seeman for two games following an incident involving Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. Seeman was caught on camera using profanity toward McBride during Arizona’s loss in New York, with the incident later drawing criticism from JC Tretter, the president of the NFL Players Association and a former offensive lineman.

The suspension was handed down by NFL Vice President of Officiating Ramon George for what the league described as unprofessional conduct. Seeman was not the only official disciplined following Sunday’s games, with referee Adrian Hill also receiving a one-game suspension over an incident involving a player. The NFL has therefore taken action against two officials as it addresses conduct issues from the weekend.
