KAILALI: A person was killed in a tiger attack this morning.

According to Ramesh Bahadur Shahi, Sub Inspector at Chaumala Police Station, the jungle cat killed 40-year-old Krishna Chaudhary at Bhairav Women Community Forest located in Gauriganga Municipality–6, Moyas, in Kailali.

Chaudhary along with two others had moved to the community forest to pick mushrooms.

The tiger attacked Chaudhary while he was picking mushroom. The two others had managed to narrowly escape the wild cat’s attack.

Sub-Inspector Shahi said that Chaudhary died on the spot due to the tiger attack.
