BANKE: The district authority here has set up a passenger help desk at Jamunaha border point in order to facilitate the travel of Nepalis from India in the wake of upcoming festivals, Dashain and Tihar.

With the major festivals approaching near, the number of Nepalis returning home from India is on rise.

Chief district officer of Banke, Dil Kumar Tamang, has said the help desk was established to curb the possible incidents of looting and frauds to Nepalis returning home for festival celebration. The facility on the border would help make their home arrival safe, he added.
